The Desveaux Family Sneak Peek {Miramichi Family Photographer}

Just when I thought the fall colours were fading for good, I took a spin by Middle Island the other day, and I knew instantly where I needed to do my next session. The Desveaux family joined me, along with their two gorgeous golden retrievers. The session almost didn’t happen though! I arrived at 4pm, and while I was waiting for everyone else, I took a walk in to check out the colour close-up. When I saw their vehicle pull up, I put my camera back in my bag (felt a couple of rain drops) and headed across the causeway. Well, talk about flash rain/hail/wind storms – by the time I made it to the car I was drenched. We decided to wait it out, and literally 10 minutes later, out came the sun. It was a bit windy, but an otherwise gorgeous Monday afternoon! Bad timing for me, haha, but they certainly lucked out! We made our way through the paths (and around a few puddles) and were able to get some really nice shots with some sun and some fall colour, my favourite combination. Here are some of my favourites so far…

 

What you don’t know about this next photo, is that the second I knelt down to take the photo, the dogs literally took off running… haha… they are pretty high energy and were just a little excited. Luckily I was able to fire off this shot before they got going.  Thanks for waiting out the bad weather you guys, I think it was well worth it!
